Newly double matted and framed using 100% acid-free materials. Acid free crescent board matting with museum board backing and acid free foam core backing added for support. Hinged with rice paper tape. New wood frame and dust cover, museum glass. This painting came from the collection of a Chicago police officer who knew Archie when he was studying at the Chicago Art Institute in the 60's. There are a couple of rogue watercolor spots on it and a faint brush mark but they do not detract from what is a great Blackowl image in excellent condition, and professionally framed.
